Good Wednesday everyone! Some call this hump day but, I will
call if my Friday. Today is my last day of work this week. Well, at least the
last day at the plant anyways. I want to talk about this word perception. Why
is it so difficult? Why do we see or hear things sometimes different than then
are? Have you ever had someone say or do something and you took it a total
different way than they thought you would? I really think this is the devil's
way of messing with us. Now, I am not saying that the person is being used by
the devil. What I am saying is that the devil can twist words around sometimes
and make you hear something different or maybe the person could just be being used by
the devil! Lol! Yes, I just did the lol (that means laugh out loud for you
older people). Let's dig into some of the good stuff.......
Bible Verse: 1 Peter 5:9 But
resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering
are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.
So, what can we do? The devil can be resisted only by faith.
We need to stand so strong in our faith that we are immovable even unyielding
to the devils schemes. Only as we immerse ourselves in God's Word does the Holy
Spirit help us to resist and conquer when in battle with this knucklehead, but
cunning adversary.
The battles we experienced are the same kind of battles
every believer throughout the world, heck throughout the ages have faced. There are times
when we feel that we are the only ones affected by these temptations and
difficulties. And they are more than we should have to go through. Don't give
into this false perception, we may
resort to self-pity, despair, and even a sense of hopelessness. Peter assures
us that this is not how it has to be. Christians in all corners of the world
must armor up and get ready to go to battle with Satan, we must be committed to
learning the Scriptures and knowing God more. You do not struggle alone in
battle. Trust me, I battle to. I battle alongside you. Many share in this
battle. Let's unite and be encouragers and up lifter’s in this war against the enemy.
Have a great day and God bless.
